About studio MIA

People and cities are our love, interest and passion.

We see great responsibility and opportunity in planning spaces and places for people. We implement Research by Design methods in designing, planning, inventing and creating living spaces and places and diverse, healthy and just cities. The projects we design consider the social and urban aspects in every design and intervention.

We believe that the architect has a critical and unique role in shaping the built environment and the society that we live in. We believe that a socially and physically diverse urban environment is necessary for the quality of our lives and the future of our children. We believe that there is room for breakthroughs and innovation in the planning of diverse and urban residential forms in Israel, both in the processes of urban renewal and in new build. We encourage residents and communities to take part in the planning process. In all the projects planned in the studio we make sure to work personally with the users, partners and stakeholders, from the concept design stage and throughout the design process.

Studio Mia was established in 2008 and has since been engaged in planning complex and diverse projects of varying scales. The studio is located in the centre of Tel Aviv and specializes in residential and housing design, urban renewal, mixed use, urban design and public buildings that are at the core of our practice. The Studio MIA design team consists of experienced, creative and devoted architects.
